At Espira Daycare Center De Watertoren in Steenbergen, we offer a warm, safe, and playful environment where babies, toddlers, and preschoolers aged 0-4 can grow up learning through play. 

We believe that experiencing nature is essential for children's development. That is why we exercise a lot and take the children outside every day. Our own nature playground offers plenty of space for climbing, scrambling, and playing hide-and-seek. We have a baby spa for the little ones—relax and enjoy!

Good morning! Just a quick hug for mom or dad and a chat. Then we'll start the day together.

The group starts together in a circle. We go over what the day will bring, sing a song, or read a book—a cheerful start to the day.

Fruit moment

Then your child eats fresh fruit at the table—a pleasant moment to laugh, talk, and enjoy each other's company. Some babies take a nap after this.

Lunch

Around noon, the children eat a sandwich lunch and drink water or milk. It is a quiet and pleasant moment where they pay attention to each other.

When the children wake up, they eat fresh vegetable snacks and have something to drink together. This way, the afternoon starts quietly, with renewed energy.

In the afternoon, there is time for a group activity—such as making music, building, or crafting—and for free play. Your child plays alone or with others, often outdoors. This way, play naturally turns into learning.

We lay a solid foundation with healthy food, plenty of exercise, and sufficient rest. Our educational professionals see learning opportunities in everything and give children the confidence to fall, get up, and try again. This helps children grow up with self-confidence, a sense of responsibility, and a love for the world around them.

Which childcare package suits you best?

With our childcare packages, you can easily choose the childcare that best suits your situation. With our 52-week childcare package, your child is welcome on all childcare days throughout the year. Don't want childcare during the school vacation weeks? Then choose the 40-week package. 


For both packages, childcare is provided on a full-day basis. Half days are only possible if the schedule allows.

Our daycare rates include diapers, fresh fruit, bread meals, drinks/bottle feeding, organized activities, outings, and transportation.

Espira Daycare Center De Watertoren is easily accessible by car, bicycle, and public transportation. Free parking is available on the street. Our location is conveniently situated near the Bergen op Zoom (center) ring road and roads leading to the A4 and A58 highways.

You can easily schedule a tour via our website. During your visit to our nursery, you will meet our educational professionals. You can get a feel for the atmosphere, see the rooms and ask any questions you may have. You can also register your child first. We will then send you an invitation for a tour.

  • Within a few days, you will hear whether there is a place available.
  • You will receive a placement agreement.
  • You sign this online within 7 days.
  • The placement is then finalised.
