Tips
With these 5 tips, you are sure to find a place where your baby will feel at home and be in good hands.
- Schedule a tour – experience it for yourself!
Go and see for yourself and get a feel for the atmosphere. What do the rooms look like: clean, safe, and inviting? Are the educational professionals caring and engaged with the children? Make a list of important questions in advance – it's okay to be critical.
- Meet the childcare professionals – are there baby specialists?
Get to know the childcare professionals and ask about their experience and training. At Espira, every child has their own mentor and a maximum of two permanent childcare professionals. All professionals who care for babies are also specially trained as baby specialists.
- Read about the educational approach – does the daycare center share your values?
A good childcare center has a clear vision on parenting, development, and daily care. The educational approach explains how your child's development is stimulated and how the daycare center deals with nutrition and safety. Espira works according to the Scandinavian approach: spending a lot of time outdoors, eating healthy food, and discovering through play.
- Consider the details – it must also be practical
Take practical matters into account in your assessment. Do the opening hours fit in with your work schedule? Is the location easily accessible, even during rush hour? And do you know what is included in the price? The more clarity you have in advance, the fewer surprises you will have afterwards. That's how it should be, in our opinion.
- Trust your intuition – you can't go wrongGo with your gut feeling and ask yourself: can I see my child playing and growing up here? Choose a childcare center that feels involved, safe, and familiar – a place where you can leave your baby with complete confidence.
