In the heart of Tholen, you will find De Postboot – a warm and green childcare location where children aged 10 weeks to 4 years can grow up with confidence and enjoyment. We offer childcare when parents or carers are unavailable during the day, but what we really offer is a place where every child can be themselves.
At De Postboot, it's about more than just care. We create an environment where children feel safe, connected to others and free to be curious about the world around them. Playing outside is not an exception for us, but part of our daily routine. We believe in natural development in the open air, where children learn, discover and grow with all their senses.
Our educational professionals are committed, skilled and attentive. They guide children based on a vision that revolves around emotional security, self-confidence, social development and respect for the world around us. Always with an eye for the individual child and the group, and in close consultation with parents and colleagues.
We offer you:
- A one-year contract for 25.5 hours per week, spread over at least three days, with clear prospects for advancement to a permanent position, based on mutual satisfaction and professional performance.
- Work at an inspiring location in Tholen, where being outdoors and child development are central.
- A professional team with room for your own input and ideas.
- Salary in accordance with the CAO Kinderopvang (Collective Labour Agreement for Childcare), scale 6 (€2,641 – €3,630 gross per month for full-time employment), depending on education and experience.

Your role
Are you ready for a new challenge and do you enjoy turning every day into an adventure with children and colleagues?
As a childcare worker at Le Garage nursery, you will contribute to a safe, familiar and stimulating environment in which children can grow. We offer opportunities for independence, initiative and professional development.
We have a temporary position available in the pre-toddler group, De Kevers. You will also work in the baby-toddler group, De Panda's. This is a great opportunity to put your skills to use with two different age groups.
We are looking for a colleague who:
- You have a qualifying diploma in childcare and meet the Dutch language requirement of 3F.
- You have a baby specialist certificate or are willing to obtain one.
- You have an affinity with young children (0-4 years) and understand what they need to feel safe and free.
- You work with attention, enthusiasm and commitment.
- Outdoor air, exercise and natural learning fit in with your pedagogical approach.
- You can provide a Certificate of Good Conduct (VOG).
- You are (or will be) registered in the Childcare Personnel Register – this is a legal requirement for working in the group.
